This museum is very well maintained and interesting. There was no tour guide when we went through but it wasn’t so complicated that one seemed necessary.

Sailing on the Rhine past this lovely, well-preserved old castle made us want to get off the boat and visit. Sadly we couldn't, but it looks like it is well worth a visit.

Very pretty sheltered garden, café, and interesting rooms to visit. There's a climb up to the tower on an outside spiral staircase, so need to be all right with heights.

The castle has been rebuilt as a wealthy family residence. Pleasant, but I did not find it or the collection of antler trophies and oven doors overly interesting. Decent restaurant.

Hi One can stay for a minimum of 2 nights in an apartment at Rheinstein (only 2 apartments). I haven't been to the others, and visited Rheinstein by boat.
