Great little cave to explore, but roof very low in places, or floor very high! Hard hats available, thank goodness. Fascinating caves, well lit and good information leaflet given. We went in the school holidays and there was a children's activity on. Staff very helpful...More

A rainy day in North Yorkshire we decided to visit the caverns. I am 6ft 6 and found myself crouching most of the way round as it is very low in places. But the hard hat worked a treat. The caverns are well worth visiting...More

Following an extremely interesting tour of the caves, we had a wonderful meal in the cafe. The quality of the home made food is amazing and all at a very modest price. Do not miss it.

Our little boy loved the caved, and the cafe serves up some really good food. The giant Yorkshire pudding wraps are amazing!

A lovely place to visit, especially when the weather isn’t great. Our 7 year old enjoyed finding the fairy doors & our 2.5 year twins enjoyed it too! Nice little gift shop & lovely cafe. Delicious cakes!

Hi sorry for the delay! I would say not really as you go down a flight of steps to get to the cave and the floor is uneven you have to bend a lot so you don’t bang your head ( you are provided with hard hats) hope that helps. More

No, you can turn up anytime between 10am and 5pm and buy tickets when you arrive. The tour of the cave is self guided so there's no specific time you need to come for. We hope to see you soon!
