A short, steep walk up to the site, but well worth the exertion. The views were great, not just for the spectacular views of Nidderdale, but of the quarry, which is huge. Lots of interesting information there to read on the various notices but the...More

Fascinating place to visit. We were on a walk when we visited this place, but there is a car park nearby as we did see people walking the short distance to get to the Coldstones Cut. This is a huge construction and something you don't...More

This extraordinary man made feature is well worth visting. I think this is a viewing point for the whole of the quarry, a trigonetry point and its wonderful views.

Was advised to visit and have to say it was a very interesting visit. Amazing view and the size of the quarry is huge. Very windy so be careful if it's stormy, Worth the walk up.

Really atmospheric place.... The sculpture is like a weird roman fort and the winds and moors surrounding give this a real raw beauty.

This is an absolute Nidderdale Gem ! Elevated views, well worth the effort ! The installation is a credit to both the artist and Hansons Quarry. Constructed of massive limestone blocks quarried on site, the walls can apparently be seen from space.
