Gjipe beach is short drive from Dhermi, the beach is smaller than most and very secluded, very clear waters, quiet and great scenery. We drove, there is a car park at the top of the hill which was 200LEK, the walk from the car park...More

As other reviews point out this beach is not as secluded as it once was and we were disappointed this August to find sunbeds umbrellas and even music playing which is one of our pet hates on Albanian beaches, but the walk (if you take...More

Relaxing visit for 2 days. Restaurants are ok, but not always open. The campsite is quite chill and very laidback.

We went to Gijpe by boat and we expected a abounded beach. What we saw how ever was a tourist beach as crowded as himare self. Tip: if you want a private beach, go to Livad

After a (approx 25 min) hike down you will find a lovely beach: however, it has been found by others as well. Three small restaurants, a camping and sun beds. But that doesn't mean it's not any good: the water is crystal clear and mesmerising...More

A truly beautiful beach. A bit of a walk down from the car park off a single lane (with passing spots) road. A few small places to eat and of course sun shades and beds. Crystal clear water and not too busy when we visited.

It's very nice and not crowded in September, as well romantic when you reach the small beaches behind the big rocks.

Well, I expected so much more because everybody was fussing about this beach. First of all our hike to this beach was quite dangerous. I was with my bf and parents (they are over 60 years old) and when we saw the first tiny parking...More

While this is a lovely little spot, it is definitely no longer a hidden gem. It is a jaunt off the main road and then a 20-25 minute minute walk down an old dirt and formerly partially paved road. Walk affords lovely views of the...More

When reading things about it on the internet, we expected less people and less bars/restaurants. You can choose to walk a short 3km hiking trail with some (not always great) panoramic views or follow the (less entertaining but easier) main road to the beach (only...More

It's not sandy, it's a beach with pebbles. So you will need flip flops, even if you don't have them the feet do not hurt. You can reach the bay via boat or by pickup or 4×4, or if you like hiking you can walk from the main... More

It is a virgin bay. It has nothing. No bar, no restaurant. The road can be accessible only by a pick up track, because it is a mountain road, or on foot. From the main road which is accessible even a normal car, the ruined... More
