Hi all, we tried to go in June and were turned back by the guards. We spoke to some locals who said it is now closed. Im not sure when it will reopen but worth checking with locals before going.

Wonderful experience to be able to go to these markets. Lots of wonderful things for sale. People are friendly and don't seem bothered by tourists. Some Afghani guys even wanted photos with us!

The market is small but if you do not visit Afghanistan it is interesting to go there and see different faces and characters coming from the other side of the border. There is a place for food and the atmosphere is fun as many afghans...More
