Hello welcome to Abraham's spice garden.The garden was established in 1952 and one of the oldest and biggest garden in periyar.We are providing a guided tour and you can taste and smell the real organic spices .You can also buy farm fresh spices.There are lots of spice gardens in Periyar so make sure that it is Abraham's spice garden.This garden was recommended in lonely planet and routard also. It is shown in the famous documentary by BBC "Around the world in 80 gardens" by Mounty Don.

We not only visited the garden, but had a cooking demonstration followed by dinner in the family home. The food was fresh and tasty. The family is lovely and has had this garden for the past 4 generations. There is also fresh spices for sale.
