We were so lucky to be there for the first sunny day in a month, so we really saw the wholes. This museum caves were something to see too. We spent the whole opening hours rhere and even the teens... Visiting Nordkapp was the main goal of the trip to Finnmark this year. We stayed in Alta, and drove up to Nordkapp from there, and that it self was a nice trip. We paid 270a person to get in, and first we thought it was a bit expensiv until we visited the Norkapphallen. The 3D movie, the tunnel down in... More

We were aware of the entry cost, but disappointed with the exhibitions etc, they were decidedly underwhelming for the price... a weird light cave, weird film with no explanations and they must have scraped around for the other exhibits... The gift shop was extensive but, on the whole, extortionately expensive... didn't even consider what the eating establishments offered... We stayed... More

It should be actually mandatory for every one at least once in a lifetime to visit this place and experience "the end of the world". There is no better place to contemplate on insignificance of material life style than this place at the edge of Europe - stabbing like knife to the freezing waters of Barents sea. The cliff alone... I guess it's the sort of price you're only willing to pay because you've travelled the entire way up there. The visitor centre and the souvernir shops are quite nice and the small bistro serves lovely waffles. It's no more and no less though. If you go there for that mandatory picture with the globe, you'll have to live with... More

An interesting drive through the snow from Honningsvag to the visitors information centre at North Cape. Enjoyed the film and the work of local artists - also the welcome hot drinks.

We visited Nordkapp as part of a tour through Hurtigruten. It was very interesting travelling through the landscape to get up to this most northernwestern point in Europe. It was a beautiful sunrise although very windy. We had a nice breakfast buffet in the restaurant there and managed to spend some time looking at the other exhibits on the lower... More
