This is the site of the first hydro-electric power station in Asia, set up in the early 20th century. The Gaganachukki and Barachukki waterfalls are best visited post monsoon, when there’s abundant water.

If you love waterfalls and driving, this place is worth visiting. Make sure you plan during good monsoon weather to enjoy the waterfall at its peak. Be careful with monkey gangs near the view point.

Can vehicles reach till the point of falls or is it walkable ? if the path way plain easy for walk or its a rocky terrain ? basically want to understand if this an easy walk for old people with walking difficulties.

Vehicles can go up to point but need to go down few steps to reach a podium to see the full falls, from road level too one can see a part of the falls. Rains have not yet picked up ....so it may not be full flow in June
I am planning to go there on 25th June...is this a decent time to visit this place ?

I think the best time to visit would be around September so that you have chances of seeing good amount of water flow. Visiting now, I dont think the falls would be completely dried (similar to March-April).
