Many pools with very nice hot thermal water just 3km from Chivay. Changing facilities on site. Very popular with locals. Nice staff. A relaxing way to finish a tiring day.

We went to the hot springs on the night before visiting the Colca canyon. It was raining outside, so the hot water was very pleasant on the contrast. There were three pools working: #1 (big outside pool with hot water), #2 (smaller inside pool with warm water) and #5 (a bit remote from the first two, so chose not to... More

The cost is 15soles/1person for the pools. The fact is that i was hoping to enjoy the whole complex (which is minimum 5-6different pools) but there were only 3available. The rest is under maintenance i guess. The water is really warm and smells like boiled eggs (thats normal for thermal water). It was full of local ppl. The outdoor pool... More

We went here and whilst driving in this area and thought to check it out. It is a nice big area and there are a number of different pools you can try out with varying degree of hotness. A lot of the local people also come here. A rustic, but very scenic area. Take a drive around as well, as... More

These simple hot springs are the perfect way to relax and spend your time in Chivay. It costs 15 soles to enter and we spent about an hour and a half there.

Given the fact that there is not much to do in Chivay after you've finished the canyon tour around 12pm I decided to visit La Calera. It's an easy 45 min. walk from the town center. Probably because it is rainy season only 3 pools were open. At first I was a little confused on where to change and chose... More

Great way to finish our hike from Canocota. 5 pools- all quite hot, a little too hot for our kids. Cool swinging bridge to nearby ruins. 15s entry fee and towel rental 4s. Kids free. Basic snack bar. Pools a little distant from one another- so no opportunity to jump between hot and cold pools. Also would be cool if... More

I enjoyed the set-up: went zip lining and then took a 2 minute short walk to the hot springs. They have foreigner and local pools (the first is less populated and the hottest). Very hot. Surrounding area was nice. Overall Good!

We visited Colca Canyon during the day and ended with a visit to the thermal baths. There are five baths, two of which are outside; we chose Pool #1 as it was large, and we could swim a bit. There are dressing rooms, lockers for clothes, and showers for pre-entry. There's also a snack bar. Frankly, we could stay in... More

Natural springs cause these pools to reach temperatures of around 38C, which is very pleasant on a bitingly cold day. It's set-up well and the pools are clean and not overcrowded. Costs 15soles to enter and you can stay as long as you like. The smell of sulphur can be smelt in parts but not at the pools.
