Located in the heart of Hyvinkää, the Museum Centre Taika brings together the Hyvinkää Art Museum and City Museum and their exhibitions. The Hyvinkää City Museum is a cultural history museum, and its exhibitions and collections portray the history of Hyvinkää and its residents. The art museum’s exhibitions showcase topical contemporary art and art phenomena from the 20th and 21st centuries.

Helene Schjerfbeck videos were good and enjoyed watching them though I am not a very big fan of her art. Otherwise the museum was small and not very interested, but with the museum card you can also pick up these small museums as well.

On our visit, the main exhibition was the 'Sixty - Now' exhibition, which is the 60th Anniversary Exhibition of the Hyvinkää Artists' Association. It showcases contemporary art from local artists.
Two smaller exhibitions were Yrjö Saarinen's paintings and drawings, and the Helene Schjerfbeck room, which exhibits the artist's paintings and photos of her models in Hyvinkää. The latter one was very interesting.
The staff was very friendly and keen to explain all about the exhibitions.

It is really nice collection!
Just the right size for a visit between shopping and lunch 😉
I also loved the small but interesting museum shop they have here.
Just next to the hugw shopping mall so location is great.
Easy to walk from the train station.
