Beautiful waterfall on drive to Cameron Highlands. Local artistic crafts available in nearby stores. Well worth the stop.

Definitely a place for you to fully reconnect the nature. Away from the city and totally worth the drive.

While its a beautiful spot for picnic etc but with mass tourism come all kind of long term problems that ruin the pristine beauty of nature. Being on the side of the main road means that there is no way of avoiding it and It has become kind of unofficial tourist attraction and a must stopping point towards or from Cameron Highlands.
The side effects are littering, rubbish left behind, damage to forest and polluted water. Taking a dip to cool off is one thing but to leave your dirty foot marks is not cool.

An excellent place for picnic and pictures, free entrance. This place never fails to amaze me and I make it a point to come every time when I'm on the way up to Cameron. Be sure to take a dip in the nice cold water for a refreshing experience. Has toilets nearby and it's free.

It is well worth taking a little time to stop and see - it's roadside and couldn't be any easier. Really nice falls and good to see very little litter.

After more than 9 years I've not been Cameron Highland, stopping at Lata Iskandar Waterfalls recently was not as memorable as before. I used to swim at the waterfalls but it is not allowed anymore. Nonetheless, the surroundings were safer and cleaner for tourist to take pictures. Along the road side of Lata Iskandar Waterfalls were souvenir shops and food stalls. Most of the items are highly priced. It's nice for tourist to stop before heading up to Cameron Highland.

On your way to Cameron Highlands you have to pass this point.
The car ride takes long time, so take the chance for a short stop and a little walk.
Nice waterfalls

Today we stopped by the the side of the road ( near Lata Iskandar waterfall) to have some fruit. There is a shop over there which sells durian, inside the shop i saw a very dirty cage and a poor fox in it. The situation of the the poor fox was so bad, i couldn't do anything for it, i just try to write it here , hope somebody could rescue poor fox.( I sent this message to an animal rescue shelter in Pahang too).

If you come through the Town if Tapah, on the way to Cameron Highlands,!this place is a nice place to stop for awhile. Some of Aussie guests went up high. Some of the stalls there sell bananas, fruits and Tongkat Ali, a natural herb that is supposedly like natural aphrodisiac! You can taste a cup or two at some of the vendors there

On the way road trip to Cameron Highland from Kuala Lumpur, we have to drive thru Tapah. Lata Iskandar Waterfall is located along the driveway, so its not so difficult to miss. Waterfall is continously flowing with very chill water. Recomended to take a dip, to feel re-energise. Makeshift Shops are open, can buy local fruits and handcrafts items. Parking is along roadside (at your own risk).
