The river Tamirabarani is a good spot to walk down and spend some time with local villagers. Watch the river , its quality and flow. The temple is Navatirupathi. Historical , value for visit darshan.

This temple is highly related to Tamil's. You will be lucky if you can enjoy this temple with Tamirabarani river beside with water. Though this place doesn't get a place in the itinerary, you can add for sure.

very old temple, a life time oppurtunity. So must visit this Temple. The car festival is magnificient. A very famous temple in Tuticorin.

Situated in the banks of Thamara Bharani river..Situated 40 kms from Tuticorin. Equidistant from both Tirunelveli and Tuticorin. Good place to explore the architectural depth. Navigation to this place is difficult due to poor road conditions (23 Jan 2017)

Excellent trip. Unforgettable. Visited navatirupathi shrines on a Saturday. Wish could come down here leisurely again.

Located in Srivaikuntam taluk of Tuticorin District in Tamilnadu. It is accessible by both road and train. Nearest railway station is srivaikuntam. Very few trains pass by. Temple is historically important. A must visit for people of southern tamilnadu.

Recently visited this temple from tuticorin. Unfortunately from tuticorin went through a route as shown in google maps, but it is found to be a dirty track with literally no roads and passing through some stone quarries,fortunately we crossed those 10 kms somehow reached srivaikuntam....More
