Made a point to drive up from Nelson to see this. Had seen it from the outside previously. Incredibly well preserved and set up nicely for self guided tour. What an Era that was.

A long way up rom Nelson, but worth the trip. The drive alone is worth the trip. Beautiful vistas f Kootenay Lake. Then in Kaslo, a great restoration and tribute to the shipbuilding industry of this tiny Kootenai town.

We spent an afternoon going through this historic old vessel and couldn't have enjoyed it more. The quality of the restoration is excellent. A step into our history.

Very interesting & lovingly restored historical piece. Enjoyed walking around & imagining what traveling on this sternwheeler must have been like... ladies lounge at one end, mens smoking lounge at the other & dining in the middle. Loved the sound effects too. Found that $12...More

My husband and I took a day trip out to KASLO from Balfour, about a 30 minute drive along the Kootenay Lake. What a wonderful and charming surprise we found in this tiny town which is preserving history in a living way. First stop must...More
