Great fun and when you have found your way out you can settle down and have a great picnic, plenty of room and free parking. No picnic, there are shops selling food and a cafe.

This was an unusual way to spend an afternoon and very enjoyable. I had never been to a maze before .

Yes, it is certainly different from most days out! I hope you manage to come back again this summer when the maze will have a new design and themed quiz trail.

Thank you for lovely review. We will be running a competition on Facebook after Christmas asking for ideas for next years design and theme, so get thinking!!

Great fun for all ages! If you really want a challenge try to avoid using the map! You can visit each year and there’s lots to do. There’s various footpaths, the garden centre or the cafe nearby.

Trying to navigate 3 miles of pathways and find the 12 hidden quiz boards without a map certainly raises the level of difficulty, but if you want a big challenge and have plenty of time, go for it!!

They change the maze every year and raise loads of money for charity. Garden centre close by and on-site cafe.

Took my grandchildren (girl13 & boy11). They both really had a great time finding the way around the excellently laid out maze (this year in shape of head of Sherlock Holmes). Managed to find all the clues and answer the 'whodunnit' question correctly and find...More

My boyfriend and I are both mid-twenties and visited for the first time on Friday. We thought it was great fun and loved the theme and the idea of finding clues on your way round. We'd definitely recommend this to other couples, as well as...More

Usual good fun again this year - added bonus of finding/solving clues for a whodunit type mystery/puzzle. Quite expensive mind you - even charged me 25p for a pencil on top of the £20 entry!

Great fun! We went on a Saturday but first thing so it was quite quiet and just getting busy as we were leaving! Took about an hour and a half, quite testing as far as mazes go, but that makes it fun! Can't wait to...More

Not 100% as it depends on the weather. The actual maze itself is packed mud and can get quite messy if it has recently rained. The paths are narrow in some places from previous experience but you should be able to squeeze... More
