Very simple, but very beautiful. The frescos on the walls of this very old church are breath taking.

A must, when you are here. Absolutely beautiful. Small in size, but gives you an idea of how colorful it must’ve been when it was originally built.

This tiny, ancient church is dedicated to the patron saint of pig breeders. It features a gigantic series of 15th century frescoes covering the entire apse and part of the side walls, all painted by one artist over many years and reflecting the styles of other artists whose work he saw on his travels, including Titian. The frescoes are wonderful, some of the most impressive in the Friulli region. An extraordinary experience.

Tucked away on a one-way street is this lovely little church. The frescoes, while incomplete in places, are nonetheless stunning. My last visit was the first since childhood, and in the intervening years it's been restored.

Truly amazing little church with fresco paintings that are well worth the visit and spending some time in the church.

Located in the center of San Daniele, a small church used as an auditorium, with the apse completely frescoed. A very interesting and unexpected site. The church is always open and admission is free

Found by chance, a marvel, frescoes preserved very well, but without a minimum of protection.
It could be valued more, it is certainly worth a visit
