From Waingapu its quite far about 2hrs with bumpy and difficult road. Dont fall a sleep because the view along the way is amazing. And after u park ur car,go trekking up and down savanah hills for nearly 1 hr,u get there. Maintain ur breath here hehehe,....but its all worth it with beautiful and amazing waterfall. U can jump and swim here but only for who really can swim :) cause its pretty deep someplaces. For who cant really swim dont worry there are swallow places for you.

Its quite challenging to get to this waterfalls. U need to park ur car or motorbike in a village around n walk down almost 1 hrs to get to this place. But its all worth it! This waterfalls was beautiful n so many places to explore when u here. Not all spot u could swim due to the high current but u could find some pond to chill out. The real challenge is to get back. I lost my breath climbing up. I suggest that u spare 1 day for this place bcoz its quite far from center city of waingapu. The road to tanggedu was very scenic n breathtaking. Don't sleep during the trip! U will missed the view.

It started with crossing the fields for about 20 min, then trekking into the woods for another 25 min, quite heavy terrain with high steps and some difficult steps. It was all worth it when we arrived at the gorgeous curtain-like-fall with breathtaking gorges and rock formations.... it is a must visit in East Sumba. Dont forget your sunscreen, hat, strong feet, mountain shoes, bathing suit, camera and happy heart .... there were coconut sellers too ...

The trek itself is strenuous unless done in the very early/late hours. The sun gets as scorching as it gets in the open savannah. Bring a hat and enough water. You are asked to pay a small fee for keeping the site clean, but that's all crap and lies! the place is great but rubbish such as water/beer bottles and snacks plastic are everywhere. Typical in Indonesia. A shame for the environment.

Trekking for abut 40 minutes down step hills and savana, it's all worth it. Beautiful savana track, waterfall and you can swim here. It's also a great place to relax, enjoy nature, take a good photos. But the way to this village it's not good. The road is broken and not asphalt. Took 2,5 hours to reach Tanggedu village. But the view of savana is beautiful. Can take a great photo also during this road.

Before we went to the waterfall, some people told us that it's quite hard to reach the waterfall. You have to down the hill, cross the small river, then climb another hill.. Did not expect it was that hard tho.. But, when you arrive, trust me.. You will find a peaceful place..
