When we went we were able to see the Thirumanjanam to main deity. Perumal is tall. There is a story that this Perumal is brother of Tirumala Perumal.

Each temple has a rich history and a factual story like the temple of Uppaliappan as well. Amazing beauty. However, I want to encourage local authorities and people to keep it clean for better preservation of our culture and history and spirituality.

The temple is one of the most sacred temples in Tamilnadu. No words to describe the deity. The temple was quite clean and well maintained. Easily accessible from kumbakonam. Visit there for a divine experience.

as advised by our colleagues, it is better to stay at Kumbakonam wherein you can have good hotels as per your choice. It is just 6 Kms distance from Kumbakonam to Uppiliappan temple.
