The Gopurams have excellent carvings and shows the artistic talent of the sculptors. The old monuments have to be preserved as it is. Had great darshan of Shiva and Amman.

You cannot complete this temple darshan in 1 hour. such a big temple. Lot of visitors. What a temple. Salute to the king who built it.

Mangalaambigai alangaram was top notch. It is a must visit if you go to Kumbakonam. The temple is also well maintained.

This temple is right next to the mahamaham tank. It is again one of the old well maintained temples.
