Jinpo Maritime Theme Park is the waterfront area near all the museums and the theme park is more like an outside museum featuring old military vehicles and planes. Because of the coronavirus situation, the huge warship couldn’t be entered. It’s a nice spacious area for a stroll near the water.

If you have young children or are interested in military exhibits, I recommend this place. You can see not only outdoor exhibits but also anchored ships near the port. What’s more, If you pay a little entrance fee and enter the huge warship called “Wibongham”, which is perfect for people who like history, there are many exhibits about the history of Korean naval wars. And I'd like to suggest visiting in autumn rather than in summer. If you visit in autumn, you can avoid the hot sunlight and enjoy the “time travel festival” in October. This place is well worth visiting.

Had fun strolling here, looking at some interesting military plane and tank exhibits, visiting museums nearby and enjoying the scenery at the port. Tired of strolling? I would recommend a visit or drink at Cafe 196. It has a good overlooking view of the harbor and the theme park with relaxing ambience at the terrace.

A small, sweet and short tour of Korean little history placed on the bank. A small one but good museum in a ship. Good one to visit with family and especially kids. Your national flag hoisted may delight you.

A small display of military aircraft and a couple of small ships. A few tanks and transport armored vehicles. Interesting but not much here. Kids can climb on and inside several of the vehicles.
