Beautiful countryside

Went for a walk on a cold afternoon but soon warmed up. The views are lovely and the lake with the different birds is well worth a visit

Paths are more walker friendly as a result of Rangers improvements. Cafe is adequate, excellent use of the old reservoir site.

It is a lovely walk but not all of it has paths. Plus it a lot longer then it looks but worth it. The kids park is ok. The car park can get busy in the nice weather. So go early.

One of my favourite places for a walk near Northampton. A perfect distance of 3 miles with great views and birds to watch. The water is always peaceful and calming. Good area for children to go too with a play area of swings etc and another area to explore with wood carvings of animals and insects, slides and tunnels etc.... More

Sywell Park is full of fun for kids & adults to play, explore with different places to walk. At the beginning or the end of activity there is a cafe to grab a drink & bit to eat.

Stopped off here while visiting friends in the area. It is a pretty place for a walk. The reservoir had quite a few different birds on which was interesting. It also has a water way trail, this walks you through the different stages of water treatment. There are children's play areas dotted through the park, which is good to keep... More

Despite the recent downpours we took our dog to Sywell and he had such fun. The walk around the reservoir took us about an hour and a half with pauses while the dog found new places to sniff. Some of the paths are in need of repair but it's generally quite easy walking. We had coffee, which was pretty weak... More

I love this place. Rain or shine, wind or snow after a walk around the water I always feel reenergised. Sadly the parking is a bit steep but I am happy to pay it as the park is kept in very good condition. The cafe is great if you fancy a little something at the end of your walk.

This is a great place to visit. £3 to park for up to 12 hours and a sectioned off children's play area means that there is something for everyone. We like to buy the duck food from the café and feed the ducks, swans etc at the front of the reservoir. Take wellies as even the car park gets very... More

A must visit if you are in the area, fun for all age children and adults. The place is kept clean and tidy.
