The museum is from the house where 3 famous Finnish architects did their work in the early part of the 1900s. Very interesting furniture and styles inside. The outside is also interesting and a great park setting. The tour relies on a guide, but it can be hard to follow the guide with a large group (and small rooms).

This is a beautiful and very interesting building not only in its own design but its place in the development of contemporary Finnish architectural expression, identity, and international profile. Guide Mila knows the building, its stories, design relationship to other work of its time, and Finnish history providing incredible context to interested visitors. She generously responds to questions conveying her knowledge and her enthusiasm for the visitors' experience.

This is the home of one of Finland's most important architects. It takes a while to get to by train and bus, but worth the trip if you have the time. Amazing estate in the beautiful countryside, wonderful Arts & Crafts and Art Nouveau buildings, mostly to myself in the height of the summer tourist season. Wonderful walks in woods, country lanes.

This is a residence built by an architectural firm and later the private residence of one of the architects, Eliel Saarinen. It is 30 KM outside of Helsinki adjacent to Lake Vitträsk, or apparently White Lake. The building has a pitched roof, likely as a precaution to precaution against snow. The buildings are quire sparse. The grounds and lake are gorgeous.

The museum is one of the places in Kirkkonummi where tourists come. It is a fine place close to lake Vitträsk.

Was here on a bus trip from a cruise ship. Home of famous Finnish architect Saarinen(the father, not the son who did Dulles airport, St Louis Arch). Nice small home that still much like it was in the 20th century. Small grounds and small garden but not much view of the nearby lake. Probably best for true architect fans

I believe it is one of the most exciting museums you can visit in Finland. Takes time to get there but you will never regret about this visit. Amazing nature park and lake will be great chance for a picnick as well.

Mr Saarinen was a successful architect and designed and built his home, which can be toured. Our guide told us about the history of this home and the interesting features built into the house. The grounds are quite beautiful, with sweeping views of woods and lakes.

If you have an interest in architecture, this is a good tour for you.

This is a beautiful home and studio built and used by Saarinen and two other architects. The furniture and tapestries are works of art, and the guide explains many anecdotes. I have come before by bus but am not sure if that is still possible; we came by car, this time. It is set on a cliff overlooking forest and water, with a path leading down to the private dock and sauna.
