Shops in RP mall r average n affordable. Food court is expensive but place is neat n clean. Food is ok. Game area is rather small. The games r cheaper but most of them don't work properly. Just to hang out this is an ok place.

Its a fun place for families especially if you have children.On the entrance,there is a McDonald's restaurant.For those who are new to Kerala and haven't adjusted to local cuisines this place is a relief .Then there is Reliance Apparels which has a nice collection of clothes for kids ,women and men.
A few floors above is a big food court serving Masala Dosas ,North indian chaat items etc.I found the food reasonably priced and tasty.
But i guess what makes this place unique are the attractions on the top floor.It has 3D effect theater and a cinema hall which hosts latest movies. My kids loved the 3D theater.Then there is a playing arena with motion sensing devices and other cool stuff.
The only down side and its something the mall owners should take on priority is the safety aspect.There are escalators all the way up to 5th floor but there are no safety nets besides them.This is risky for kids and youngsters who may not be careful when there is a crowd and excitement.For this reason I am taking away 2 stars and giving a rating of 3

its an average mall.RP mall has a food court and a cinema hall.it has very good parking area in 2 levels and staff are very helpful.

Considering other malls, It's small and conjusted. Almost all space are occupied. Food court is also too conjusted.

RP mall, located near ksrtc bus stand, the own mall of kollam is developing into a good one day by day. Got good car parking space even though it's paid one, malabar jewellers reliance, hercules will add to shopping destinations, cinema and play zone for enjoyment and food court for the call of your stomach, all these makes RP an almost complete mall. Worth visiting

RP Mall is the only Mall in KOLLAM City, McDonald's outlet present and some other clothing brands outlet available, in top floor there're an array of food stalls, you'll get a good view of Lake asthamudi while munching your food if you seated nearby the window of the food court.

There is a food court which is great for both snacks and meals. There is hand wash basins and ladies toilets right at the back, opposite sides to each other. So ask about fir where this is. Nice north indian snack place. Which I went back to several times while visiting. I also had meals here.
The cinema on the top floor was nice, they actually bring the fold to your seat! Ive never had that before! The games and rides were great for kids. I didn't shop here though as I think prices are more competitive at other places.
One day they had a live band playing, they asked for requests and I made one but the stupid guys didn't sing 'Jimmiki kamnal'. I mean come on... but that's not the RP mall's fault!
I will be going back there for the 'pani puri' I know my mum will love it!

We went there to have a try to the newly opened McDonald's was a great experience but felt sad to see lots of shops closed down seeing empty floors. But all together was great

RP Mall is the closest one can come to a modern mall at Kollam. It is centrally located and has a very interesting set of stores.
Will start with the good aspects and then on to the bad.
The Good Parts: Parking is available most of the time. The Food Court is pretty good. Stores operating offer quality products and services. The Mall is maintained well and is clean. Carnival cinemas offers a good modern movie going experience.
The Bad Parts: It is next to impossible to enter the Mall during rush hour. The lines stretch up to the signal. The Security Personnel at the parking lot are extremely rude. While I have not picked a fight with them, I have overheard many strained conversations with others. I feel that the Mall needs more space - at peak times you can feel a bit claustrophobic.
Despite the shortcomings, RP mall is a good place to shop and catch a movie at Kollam. Highly recommended.
