This palace may not be having bright future since it utilized as the head quarters of NCC and well as military canteen. Not at all maintained as a heritage place which is a sad thing. Needs permission to enter as it is under control of defense and ncc

Thevally palace is situated on the banks of ashtamudi lake. The view of the lake from the palace is great, especially in the evening. Now , the building is used by government as a storehouse. So make sure to take permission to enter.

Also since it is used by army, the public cannot get into every place... More

The Palace is over 100 years old and being situated along the banks of the Astamudi lake was meant as a guest house for the Travancore kings. Sadly the historic value of this palace is not maintained as it is used officially. One can find a blend of European designs specially that of the roof. Architecture students can find some... More

the sec nary is spectacular . tourist facility is very poor. you might as well stay in the good hotels across the lake on the opposite side and just make a quick tour on this side.
