Love seeing the dolphins. Great experience and lovely atmosphere.
This was such a great day seeing the dolphins at Chanonry Point. They came up so close. You have to check the tide times and get there an hour after low tide but we actually got there really early as we knew parking could be difficult. It's a lovely atmosphere as so many looking with you and it's so exciting each time the dolphins swim by. Really worth a visit.

    Dolphin Haven
The prime site to view the Moray Firth dolphins. Pick a time when the tide is on the turn, and coming back in. Parking available but the car park is quite small. A short walk required to get down to the waters edge.

Free! No need to go on a tour, parking cheap
Just WOW! Dolphins:- Go on the rising tide, although the dolphins appeared to be there a lot at any time Park in the carpark, its cheap - £2 for 2 hours, £3 for 3 hours (no campervans, only cars) walk along the beach past the lighthouse, stand on the point thee & marvel at the dolphins almost within touching distance. Recommend dressing warmly/for rain too. The dolphins just seem to frolic right in front of you, just the best experience

Dolphins or not , go anyway
Sadly we didn’t see any dolphins but it is a great place to visit anyway , parking is limited and it is pay and display. There is some seating and a lovely long stretch of beach . The view over to Georges fort is great and the water is crystal clear . If the dolphins are there all well and good but go anyway.

    Great experience
LOVED our experience here during our trip. Stopped off at just the right time to see a pod of dolphins swimming nearby which was an incredible experience. Everyone there was in awe of the dolphins and I don't think anyone could take their eyes off the water, waiting for another glimpse. An all round beautiful place without the dolphins too with lovely views, a pebble beach and just all round peaceful place to be

Amazing watching the dolphins this morning. Definitely recommend, but check times of the tide to improve your chance of seeing them

First stop on our trip and it blew our minds seeing the dolphins

They were swimming just 10 yards out from the point where the sea was coming in

It was.mind blowingly beautiful sight especially the mother dolphin with her baby alongside

When in Rome...when in Ross and Cromarty
Point is ... you really have to go here 🤗
Everyone holding phones and cameras at the ready to see a bit of blue planet magic

They say best time to see our dolphin friends is after the tide changes as they chase the fish in ... we went about 10.30am and saw 2 bobbing heads which was for us luck enough
Guess it's a right time right place thing with these big fellows
Next time then we may see them jump 😀
