Euromos is a long way from the magnificence of Ephesus of the Tempe of Apollo, but it is still very impressive and the setting is very pleasant. It is located above an hour's drive from Bodrum, and if you are into archeological sites, I would...More

Imagine in ancient times when that highway did not exist. One would have to travel on foot or by mule for days to reach a lone temple by itself dedicated to Zeus. This is the life of ancient Anatolians and Greeks. Really shows you that...More

On the way from Milas to İzmir, is a must see ancient site. Beautiful surroundings and very peaceful, you can wonder around the templement without the massive crowds, very mystical.

Thanks tripadviser! I'd never found it without it. It is almost unmarked, but fantastic site. By the way, there were no one to collect entrance fee (September 2015), no one at site at all!

Perhaps only 10km. north of Milas, on your right there is Euromos with its very picturesque ruins of the temple of Zeus. Many Corinthian columns are still standing. The temple is not as impressive as the one in e.g. Didyma but is utterly more charming....More

Having driven past this site for at least 5 years, wondering what the ruined arches were, it left us wondering why we have never visited it before. I am not aware of tours that go there so I would think that you would need transport...More
