I stumbled upon this museum while running errands in milas. The garden is full of relics from the Ottoman, Byzantine, and Hellenistic eras. The museum itself is free. Just one room. The only drawback is that the descriptions of artifacts are mostly in Turkish only. Outside the museum is a tea garden, we'll shaded by grape vines. If you are... More

The town has its visitors for many centuries cause it is location. It may be a little far from sea but has lots of treasures inside. So the museum of Milas has amazing historical findings inside. And if you are interested in archeology you should see it.
