Went here with extended family and everyone enjoyed. The kids programs were fantastic and really engaging (we we're there with kids 2-6). The sites were well-forested and somewhat private, medium-sized. The beaches and many trails were closed due to flooding but seemed like they would...More

We camp at a minimum of 4 different provincial parks every summer and I've only ever had good things to say about them. Arrowhead, Bon echo, Silent Lake, Awenda to name a few and they are kept in such good shape. This past Canada Day...More

Nice area to bike around. Beach has small pebbles but good for swimming. Some shoreline lost this year with the high water. Quiet road and neat lighthouse.

Beautiful beach and camping sites right on the water. Going again next weekend, just get rid of some party goers and it's perfect.

Have camped here for the past 6 years. Great park with lots of hiking and biking trails. Great for birding and nature hikes. Turtles, birds, etc.

Cost the two of us $11 (seniors rates) and it was a lovely day. Even though the advertised Whimbrel never showed. Lots of other birds, however. Also enjoyed visiting the old lighthouse and reading about The Speedy and the incredible story of its disappearance. Somebody...More

We visited Presqu'ile on the long weekend in May. Unfortunately unusually high water levels in Lake Ontario reduced the amount of usable habitat for migrating birds so bird-watching this year wasn't as great as normal. However, we still enjoyed our visit to the park and...More

Went there today and hiked several of the short trails. Very nice spot, however, when I was stopped to pay, the attendant informed that the park was open, so the fee applied. So I paid and went in..but nothing was open. The store was closed....More

My dog and I went to Presqu'ile on Sunday afternoon and had a great time. We walked around the lighthouse, walked the Newcastle and Pioneer trails, walked along the lakeshore and walked the Marsh Boardwalk. The scenery was breathtaking and the walking was very enjoyable...More

There are decent beaches. I would call the park office as they had trouble with flooding this Spring and I had heard they closed the park for a short time but unsure if they had reopened it. We also travelled to the... More

The park is closed right now due to flooding. The boardwalk is underwater and many sites are flooded. Not sure when the park will reopen or how the sites will be affected.
