Stay at guest house tokiwa and got a free tour to this place to see Mt. Fuji during sunrise. It is nothing short of amazing.

We enjoyed a wonderful 90 minute walk around the lake stopping plenty of times to take pictures, watch the fishermen & enjoy a coffee in the hotel at the head of the lake.

We love this place for camping it’s a great spot in any season and most days when we’ve visited the early mornings have a great view of Mount Fuji. Nice relaxing time every visit.

I suggest you to stay here one day! From Ueno station will take almost 4hours to Tanuki Lake.

i`m not sure about that. Because most of the camper bring their own camp equipment. but if you don't wanna bring your own camp equipment, they provide some resort really near to the camp site to stay. 😉
