I was most impressed by the beautiful red Torii gate outside and the immaculate shrine interior (see photos). During your visit, make sure to see the adjoining park as well. There is plenty of paid parking available and some shops and restaurants across the street.

There is a large parking lot in front of the shrine and beautiful park leading up to it. The shrine is beautiful, the red color is pretty unique. I stopped by in the evening, there was hardly anyone here. I really enjoyed the ponds and river that naturally flowed by the shrine and the red bridges. I wouldn't go out of your way to visit this shrine but if you are nearby it is well worth stopping at.

We had a hour visiting this shrine. We were taken to the Shrine by friends in their car. At about 9:15am, car- parking spaces were quite plentiful in the paid Carpark which had several attendants.
The cherry blossoms were in full bloom and we were able to take postcard like photos of the blossoms against the backdrop of the beautiful buildings. Our walk thru the gardens and the ponds were so picturesque and relaxing. There were a couple locations with scoops for the fresh spring water to drink and refresh. You can also pay 200Yen to fill a bottle of spring water to take away.
The view of Mt.Fuji was good from the east side of the gardens, with the mountain being to the North East.

Such a sweet shrine nestled at the base of the Mt Fuji area.
Views are hit and miss of the Mount due to the weather, and we were lucky to see her peak on the drive up to the Shrine. There are some beautiful waters surrounding the area.

This a shrine worth visiting, lovely gardens. In fact when we visited we were lucky enough to see a Japanese couple in full Japanese costume having their wedding photos taken in the gardens. A lot of visitors have that young couples wedding photo! Was beautiful to witness and a special moment.

Some great photo opps from here. Many many food stalls in the corridor leading to the temple. I saw a review that said it was around 40 yen for a bottle of spring water, but it's actually 200 yen, even if you have your own bottle. Nice pond with many ducks and carp.

I went there as part of a tour group. It was a wonderful and beautiful place. It is a good place to relax or clear my mind as not many people around. The tour guide give us some information or history of the place which was interesting and it was nice walking around the place. I would come again.

Relatively quiet, peaceful, and packed with history. The shrine was probably established about 520AD but as it has been there since records began nobody really knows. Beautiful, clear, spring pool alongside. Ideal to visit in conjunction with the Mount Fuji World Heritage Centre which is just a few hundred yards South of the shrine.

This is a nice place to visit within sight of famous Mt Fuji. We were blessed with gorgeous weather so it made for perfect picture taking opportunities. We were part of a cruise excursion so there were quite a number of people when we were there but the numbers soon thinned out.

This place was a good place to wander round and enjoy the grounds which included a small lily pond, nice bronze statues
as well as buildings and shrines with historical significance. It would probably be best to experience when there are no large coach parties visiting to make it better to take photographs without too many people in shot. This place has good views of nearby Mt Fuji, unless like us you are unlucky enough to visit on a misty day.
