I thoroughly recommend the Shoe Museum. THis is the third time I have been and the collection has been added to and now features a very interesting part on weddings over several hundred years. Very good documentary also showing at reception.

Very impressed by the amount of shoes on show. They are in such good condition and are put in periods of age. Interactive displays for children were also interesting. Nice to read about the Clarks family and was very interested in the office set up....More

This museum is easy to miss, but well worth a visit. It is free of charge to enter. It's a lot larger than might be immediately obvious, with a huge number of shoes through the ages, as well as some costumes and information about manufacture....More

Found the shoe museum on our way back from hols. It was fabulous, although very few men’s shoes appear to have survived .

Probably the best collection of shoes in the UK. A fantastic range of shoes through centuries and sparked childhood meteorites with Clark’s sandals

I was staying in Wells and got a bus directly to Street which was very convenient & took about 20 minutes. The museum is easy to find at the end of the main shopping area & next to the Clarks designer shopping outlet/village.
