The cruise ship docked at the end of the promenade and you just walk down the promenade and into the town of Argostoli - nice and clean. There's an interesting bronze bust of an individual, not sure why.
The highlight of my visit to the harbour was seeing the turtles!!. W e made several visits to the harbour to see them during our trip.
There are lots of restaurants along the harbour. Fantastic bakeries to sample. Fruit markets.

Great place for having a wander,seeing the turtles that come around the harbour around 9-11 o'clock. A couple of supermarkets,several banks,bakeries etc. There is also a quite big fruit and veg market.
