Lots of lovely art work on display and for sale and a lovely tea room. The staff in the shop were very helpful and the items on sale are good quality and not too pricey

Was looking for information on the area and with help with finding out about my ancestory, they couldn't have been more helpful. They also have some historical artefacts form the area there too which were interesting and informative.

My husband was playing golf on the challenging 9 hole course in Lismore so I was able to have some free time for 4 hours. The Green keeper recommended a walk to the Towers about a mile from the golf course, he gave me a brief history & off I went, but I was not prepared for the beautiful surroundings... More

This little town has a lot of interest to the visitor and I am pleased to see that the Heritage and Info centre is playing an important role in promoting the attractions of Lismore. I arrived in the town, sans map and it was a bit of a mission to locate this centre, as quite a few of the locals... More

The centre has recently been revamped, and would be a major attraction for tourists in the town. The centre also does school tours, which are very popular with the children.

A warm welcome from two Italian females [one from Siena, the other from Florence] set the seal on a pleasant short visit to this charming town. The heritage part of the experience consisted of two DVDs [one more suited to children], some history boards and a few artefacts too. The DVDs, for which a small fee is payable, are only... More

If this is your first visit to the lovely and historic town of Lismore, I would strongly recommend you visit the Heritage Centre and make time to see the audio visual presentation on the story and the historic sites of Lismore. Irish visitors might like to know that the presentation in English is narrated by Niall Tobin, who tells the... More

We arrived too late for the morning scheduled tour and way too early for the afternoon one, but Alice O'Donoghue of the Heritage Center took us on a tour just for us. She was a wealth of information about architecture, history, famous and infamous locals, the Cathedrals and the castle. You can buy a detailed booklet and do your own... More
