Right on the centre of caltagirone you have this great stairway. Lots of small local boutiques on the side to visit. Great paintings on every stair. Worth the stop

Climb the stairs and look for the permanently changing perspectives of the town as it grows to a grid of streets and alleys.

Absolutely amazing. Shops are quaint the view from the top of the steps are unbelieveable. Excellent icecream shops. Get a bottle of water you will need it by thr time you get to the top.
