Nothing great to be missed out. Kids had chance to see few snakes and animals there. Could be maintained a little more better.

This is one must visit when you are in Kannur. The place is located close to the Parassinikadavu temple, and closes at 6 pm. We reached just in time for the last ticket for the day, and I must say that we were lucky to have been able to go in. A fairly good collection of animals, over and above the snakes, makes this place a really good one for the kids and the adults both. The park houses a variety of snakes and other small animals, including the Spectacled Cobra, King Cobra, Russell's viper, Krait and various pit vipers. There is also a large collection of non-venomous snakes including pythons. The park is dedicated to the preservation and conservation of snakes, many species of which are gradually becoming extinct. The best part of the place really has to be the way in which it is maintained, and the friendly staff who are ever so willing to help.

A must visit with kids, they get enlightened with more information on various types of snakes. A vivid description provided in each section. The snake park was small but informative.

This snake park was set up by the legendary wildlife enthusiast and conservationist Romulus Whitaker from Chennai. This place is must place to visit to be almost all kinds of snakes of India. It also has crocodiles and Pythons and Birds and other animals. It actually is a mini zoo which is based in Parassini Kadavu in Kannur.

This is an ideal place to visit with young children. There are a large variety of snakes to see in addition to some other animals, reptiles, birds & fish. The park can be covered within 1 hr time. Entry fee is just ₹20 per adult. Not very far from Kannur city. We really enjoyed our visit.

The Snake park is a mini zoo which also contains other animals like fish, turtles, monitor lizards, jungle cats, porcupines, birds of prey. But the focus is clearly on snakes. The animals are well kept and the area is well maintained. The zoo is very informative for children and adults. The Snake park also has a nice cafe.

Amazing place for a weekend getaway! As the name suggests, it has many varieties of snakes but apart from that there are so many other animals too. Also, it's fascinating to see so many crocodiles altogether.
Do visit in afternoon when they feed the crocodiles. Their sudden movement is amazing!

This is a small snake park but ambience is really good. You can spend almost 1 to 2 hours tops there. Small eateries are there inside the park so no need to worry about going thirsty

The Parassinkkadavu Snake Park is located in Kannur district of north Kerala, in south India. The Snake Park is near to Parassinikkadavu, muthappan temple.
In a live show, trained personnel play and 'interact' with a variety of snakes, including cobras and vipers, and try to quell mythical fears and superstitions about snakes. It has also been proposed that a laboratory to extract venom from snakes for purposes of research be set up here. Many other animals are conserved here.
It's an attractive spot in Kannur
