Suitable for those who can walk about 1.5 hours. All you can do is enjoy the nature. At the end you will reach a viewing point where you can have a view of the mountains connecting each other. Recommended for those who love trekking! Morning and evening is the recommended time to visit!

Nice view and excellent climate. Good for those who likes trekking. Awesome views of valleys and hills, the mystic mountains adds perfection to the perfect location

Paithalmala is the highest peak in Kannur district with an elevation of about 1200 msl and is located approx. 60 kms away from Kannur town. Guys if you are healthy you cannot miss this place, but be there in the evening or early morning so that you can enjoy the vibrant ambience.

It's a place for adventure loving youth men and women and not for the ones who are not healthy . Trekking and hilltop view is awesome. You should carry water and food with you. No food and water is available. You can drink water in forest at your own risk. It's good for young ppl.

Super place with no disturbance . Go early in the morning so that the fog can be enjoyed . There is a bus from kannur ksrtc to paithalmala at 7.00am . From the last bus stop you will have to walk 2-3 Km then you will see a forest office , from there there is 2.5km trekking through dense forest... More

We went to this place searching Google and then found it a excellent place for nature lovers. This is a garden on top of the world full green and breeze. We would suggest travellers go with a nice trekking shoes and also have enough water, salt / dettol for lyches and dehydration drinks. Overall excellent experience with lovely picture and... More
