I absolutely loved this museum. We spent along time enjoying the huts and the history and stories in each one. It really makes me appreciate what my grandparents went through during the war.

Visited this place twenty years ago so we thought it would be good to go back. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and spent about four hours wandering round the huts. It's very good value for money, much less expensive than other attractions. We had morning coffe and lunch in the cafe. The food was good but there were some issues!... More

Excelled expectations with some truly reincarnated displays especially the Blitz and Prisoner of War offerings. You would struggle to take in everything in 3-4 hours, in fact to much info to cram into one visit so plan your itinerary beforehand and the only slight criticism is beware of school parties as they can get a little over boisterous.

Visited today. It's not that expensive and gives a great insight into the wars and what went on. There are loads of huts to go in and view / read all kinds of different stuff. A number of military vehicles are dotted around the place which just add to the experience. Canteen available for food. Visited for about 2 and... More

Lots to see and read, great for our 10 year old son who is learning about WW2 at school at the moment. The realistic smells can be a bit overpowering after a while but it all adds to the experience!! Would definitely recommend.

What a fantastic experience. My only issue was I didn't plan enough time to see all. I would suggest at least four hours or more there, so much to see

All the other reviews will tell you how great this place is, we go regularly with our kids and make sure we spend a decent amount of time in a few huts rather than try to hurtle round it all. Add in some research before we go (the kids choose the huts we go to) or after we get back... More
