Oh my goodness. I had no idea how much there was going to be to see. Wish we'd arrived a bit earlier as we didn't get to see it all. It is incredibly well organised and thoroughly researched with something to interest all the family and of all ages. Nice café too to warm up and have a snack. I... More

A fantastic museum that brings history to life and great for dogs as well as they are allowed in all the exhibit huts apart from the cafeteria and gift shop. I would highly recommend this to everyone who wants to learn of the history and horror of modern warfare and come away with a greater understanding of conflicts in recent... More

During a 4 day tour of York and North Yorkshire we spent half a day at this fabulous venue. It was authentic and fascinating, providing incredible insight into the experiences and heroic spirit of the peoples of Britain during the horrific conflicts of WW11. A great venue with excellent facilities for dining and relaxing; whether enjoying the on site catering... More

The place is an excellent venue to visit. It has so many items spread over numerous old POW huts that you could easily spend the whole day there. Excellent value for money. Nice cafe. Good location close to the A64.

Have visited eden camp 3 times now.ample car parking spaces and the layout of the huts all on flat ground are easy to enter. easily spend a full day here if you take your time and follow the map on which hut to enter in order. Follow the course of the war through each hut, some huts have bombed out rooms... More

Very nice chap in booth welcomed us to eden camp and told us 'you are in now so no escape'. We spent 3.5 to 4 hours here and at £8.50 per adult I think this is quite reasonable. There are lots and lots of things to read and look at and you could easily spend many hours here. The 'scenes'... More

This was our second visit to Eden Camp and we still didn't see it all. We selected the sections we most wanted to see and concentrated on them. There is certainly an amazing amount to see and absorb. Eden Camp is all about Britain at War, from 1939 to 1945, from the home front to the front line. It does... More

Originally a prisoner of war camp the original hits have been used to display an astounding range of artefacts, displays, mocked up trenches, bombed streets, military vehicles, guns, aircraft , medals memorabilia. A great day out.

The attraction is a very informative venue that gives an excellent history of the war (s) and at the same time respectful of those who were affected at the time and afterwards. There were several school groups of varying ages visiting today and it was disappointing to see that some of the teachers/staff did not appear to explain the historic... More

I picked this visit as we were taking our 80+ parents on a weekend to Pickering and thought it may be of interest to them. Well, we all loved it! The atmosphere is brilliant and the whole site has been very well laid out, easy to navigate with so much to see. We had breakfast in the café which was... More
