What about a less touristy place in Andalucía? Priego del Cordoba is a nice choice to escape and a great surprise was to find the Fuente del Rey. I recommend.

Stunning and beautiful just like the rest of Priego De Cordoba. Best suggestion is to walk around and lose yourself in the tight winding white washed walled streets.

An impressive fountain that we almost missed as we could not find it driving around the town. There appeared to be a lack of water and few pipes pouring water when we were there.

The old men in Spain seem to sit happily in the shade chatting for most of the day, and at Neptune’s Fountain they can be seen sitting in the shade of wonderful trees, and/ or next to the splashing water which helps cool them too....More

We visited in January so would love to see it in the spring or summer, but still looked good, very well kept tidy park area.

After walking a couple of minutes from Barrio de la Villa, I turned up at this beautiful square. It is very clean and quite. The fountain is amazing, specially if all fountain's streams are working. You can take one or two good pictures of it....More

a very quiet local spot with a great deal of history. you might need a guide or really good guide book to tell you more about it.

It has 139 gushing spouts, each with different carved faces, spilling into 3 pools with Neptune in the centre. Quite delightful! The water is clear and potable. Definitely worth visiting.

We only saw it at night, but nicely lit. Looked like they were landscaping the area around it when we were there.

Walk up the Calle Rio and check out the street side mansions on the way my wife loved the beautiful doors and balconies.
