I understand that COVID has royally screwed us all this year, but that is really no excuse to shaft your customers. On the website, they advertise that 90% of their facilities are open - this is grossly incorrect. The pools are open, yes, however, none of the saunas are open (and there are a LOT), none of the steam rooms are open, and various other rooms are also closed. This is understandable due to the pandemic, but tell me why customers are still made to pay €64 on entry for a spa where half the facilities are not operating? How is this fair? The least you could do is offer a discount for this as there was considerably less to do.

The staff aren’t particularly polite or welcoming, and I was initially coldly told to tie my hair up in the pools - okay, fair enough - then 20 mins later I was literally barked at by a member of staff for not having it tied ‘high enough’....are you serious? Meanwhile several men with long hair were not bothered by the staff about this. Got to love the casual sexism there.

The worst part of all this was the ‘aperitif’ which was offered at 17:00 upon our booking. We were starving and I was really looking forward to it, especially as bad food is difficult to find in Italy. What we were greeted with was the worst canteen style crap I’ve ever seen in my life. A dry tasteless bread roll with a stingy topping of cheese and tomato, another dry roll, and then glass jars filled with a tasteless black rice, a bulgur wheat salad that appeared to be one week old, dry parmesan pieces, and some meat (we were actually asked on entry if we had any allergies, we said no, but that we were vegetarian. I have no idea why they bother to ask people this when they serve the same garbage to every customer) which we had asked before sitting at our table if there was any (meat), our server said no? When we asked to replace it with more cheese we were looked at like we were mentally challenged. Not really the kind of shoddy food or service I’d expect for a €64 entry ticket.

They also provided me with two flip flops that were the completely wrong size. Again, kinda weird service for an expensive place.

Either reduce your price to fit the reduced facilities or do not open at all. And stop starving your customers too. Embarrassing service.

Nice hotel and lovely spa, however they spoil it by having seemingly no limit on the number of people they let into the spa..... There was around 60 in the pool area the other day, we literally queued inside the pool for a bit of pool-wall space to lean on. At the prices they charge, its not unreasonable to expect some limit to the numbers.

Dear James, Thank you for your honest comment. We are sorry to hear that your day didn't meet your expectation. During the high season the turnout is undoubtedly greater, but the amount of entrances is managed in such a way that we can guarantee the well-being of our guests. We look forward to welcoming you again at QC Terme Pré Saint Didier. QC Terme Team

I went there during a bank holiday with my wife and it was horrible.
The place was out of its capacity but they let still other people come in: some pools were unavailable because of it.
Some walls were moldy and the dressing room was dirty. All that for a very expensive expensive price.
I think it was my last time at QC Terme.

Very interesting place. It combined aromatherapy, aquatherapy and a whole lot more. There were many different relaxation rooms. It takes quite a while to explore the whole place, or just find your favorite room and stay there.

I have always been a little reticent about public thermal baths but sensed this was a little different and this was the case
Firstly you need to reserve in advance at least 24 hrs online but you pay on arrival. My hotel did the reservation and that meant we received 10% discount. You are allocated a locker and even with an internal safe, dressing gown with hood, towel and flip flops
It is very well organised - There are a variety of options to cater for all needs. All the baths of different shapes sizes and depths ,indoor and outdoor, have high pressure water outlets to provide massage to different areas of the body without compromising your comfort. There are also hammams and saunas and rest areas.
The outdoor pools are in grounds where you have magnificent views of the surrounding mountains including Mont Blanc at over 4600m.
It did not feel overcrowded and you can choose between 5hr and all day stay.
I saw no evidence of inadequate hygiene standards and there seemed an unwritten code of respect amongst clients whose priority no doubt was relaxation and a degree of tranquillity

Beautiful place, but not suitable for those who want to enjoy true peace, silence, relaxation and…privacy. Smartphone use is allowed here, so the place is packed with young couples trying to make the perfect selfie. I found it funny, as a penomenon, but was also quite annoyed, being inadvertently filmed and photographed all the time.

After injuring my knee I came here with a friend. There were so many spa options and the place is huge set on many levels. Lunch was a delicious buffet with a selection of wine! We got two robes flip flops and a towel. Well worth the money and a relaxing day to make up for not being able to ski. You will be hard pushed to experience a spa like this.

If you come to the Aosta Valley, you should spend a day at the SPA.
The original buildings have been beautifully restored and the views of the Mount Blanc are gorgeous.

Perhaps they should allow less people to get in because it was very crowded.
I remember when they first opened, years ago, it was much better, in my opinion. It was a cosy place where you really went to relax and enjoy the waters.

I also regret free events like the sauna: at present we could only get a single event during the day.
It was in the sauna and only for 20 people so that we had to be there long before the event started and stand up in the cold.
It was too cold for us to resist and we gave up. A real pity.

I think the location is beautiful but the service could be improved.

It seems a tourist attraction not a spa! No one takes a shower before entering, there are too many people everywhere! Even in low season, the situation was not better. There aren't any pannel for silence and relaxation. Everywhere people talking loud and do a race to go everywhere and to eat, eat eat. When I was trying to relax on the water mattresses I didn't want to believe what was happening on the mattress next mine! Someone was using it as his personal bedroom! There isn't nobody from the staff to control that decency and cleanliness is observed!

We built a trip round going here (from the UK), but there were queues everywhere, people barging their way to the last teeny bit of space and just a load of noise. All the smaller pools were full of canoodling teenagers or older women who glared at you if you dared to pollute the atmosphere with your presence. It was a version of hell and I ended up leaving after an hour and getting my money back. I had booked my slot several weeks in advance. Never again.
