We did this in two bits... started the day walking from Matsoukata up over the hill to pick up the path in Katsarata. From there we dropped and climbed and dropped through the woods to Fiskardo passing several sweaty people climbing up through the woods....More

We walked from Fiskardo to Foki beach and then back to Fiskardo. It was a beautiful walk but too challenging for my parents who are both 70+ due to the uneven ground, loose stones and steep climbs. However the rest of us it was great....More

We've been enjoying the Cypress Trail, especially walking down from Katsarata to Foki beach, and to Fiscardo. Lovely aroma of thyme and loads of fluttering butterflies.

Great walk, well signposted now with directional posts and distances. Some lovely view points, partly through the woods in shade, but not always. Take water, sunscream and hats.Stopped at Foki for a break and drink. We walked from Fiskardo in a circular route. You can...More

This was the third of the trails from Fiskardo and probably the best. A steep start which certainly gets you puffing and panting, but then a lovely walk through the countryside and some old Greek villages. Foki beach near the end is a great place...More

This walk starts off steeply and then flattens out when out of the forest, going through old villages, abandoned houses and wild goats ending at the harbour.A really interesting walk, take plenty of water and suncream.

This is a great trail and well worth doing. Best if done with Foki at the end as there is a great restaurant and a beach. If people are flagging you can then walk back on the road rather than following the route back over...More

If you are thinking of doing this walk in the middle of the day in the height of summer, you might want to learn from our mistakes. Firstly, it was a ridiculous time to do it, and we should have known better. We had somehow...More

Lovely walk with some shelter which was very welcome as it was very hot. An easy relaxing walk suitable for most. Suggest you take your own water as there is nowhere to stop off for a drink or ice cream. Best done early morning

This is well worth walking - great walking with a steep start and an easier finish. Also at Foki Beach, with only 1 km to go, you can take a small refreshment if you want to. Be careful about signing, in two places you need...More
