Paleokastritsa is the most famous and probably most picturesque beach resort of the island, thanks to its delightful landscape and the clean beach. Huge, green cliffs surround the coast and many sea caves can be visited by boat around this beach.

There is plenty to do, even in late October as you can take a boat trip or walk up to the pretty monastery at the top of the hill, where the views are even more stunning. The beach was beautifully clean and easy to walk on to. Boat trips very good and staff very informative. The waters were beautifully clear... More

Beautiful beach with clear, green water. We went there in the end of October and there wasn't many tourists anymore so the only open restaurants and hotels are the ones near the beach. The weather was nice whole week. There's few little hills great for hiking and incredible views. I would recommend apollon hotel because it's just by the beach... More

First visited Paleokastitsa 13 years ago and was so disappointed going back this year. This beautiful bay has become a victim of its own beauty. The whole of the area has been overdeveloped and is so crowded with day visitors and cruise ship buses parking is very difficult. I would suggest that the best way to view the bay is... More

We arrived for a day out and were stunned by the beauty of the area. There is plenty to do, even on a late October day as you can take a boat trip or walk up to the pretty monastery at the top of the hill, where the views are even more stunning. The sea was wonderful to swim in,... More

It's an okay beach but I expected it to be spectacular from the reviews. Travelled a lot of the island and preferred other beaches such as Arillas and Kalamaki. Waters not as shallow as some of the beaches so was a lot more wary of the kids playing in it. For some reason the area that day was full of... More

Just a regular Greek beach. Not very clean, quite narrow, mostly sandy but with some stones, no wheelchair/stroller ramp. Small pier for commercial cave boat cruises, few restaurant nearby, big parking lot (not sure if free/paid). There are not many beaches in this area, so either way one day you will simply have to go there ;)

The beach is beautiful, with clear water and sand to lie down but many stones to get into the sea. The best way to reach there is by car from Corfu Town (about 20 min). From Sidari is also possible but the road is quite narrow and sinuous.
