We visited this place today and it was overpriced. It was 30 minutes walking, or a bit less. We didn’t see monkeys because it was windy. The story and the background was not too relevant for us. It was below expectation for us!

Kaya Kinondo provides a fascinating insight in Kenya's pre-colonial history. It is a guided walk through one of the last small bits of what was a sacred place for the Digo people, who trace their history to the 13th century, The walks takes a good...More

The entrance of the Kaya seems like a very small place, but once inside Be prepared to walk! There is also a small token given to the staff, give with your heart!

I am no Botanist but found this interesting and tour was delivered with a passion. Pricing not published, so felt costs for my Kenyan G/F were a bit steep. I am 6'1" and parts were challenging for a tall person, but glad have done the...More

The forest has a wonderful spiritual feel to it, but there's not a huge amount to see. We took the long and half very bumpy road south from Diani in a tuktuk. It's a lot further than we expected, and a bit of a let...More

This was a great different option for something to do in Diani. I had travelled there during the off-peak season, in May and the weather was perfect for an easy, refreshing afternoon hike. The on-site guide was really great and I was happy to contribute...More

Kaya kinonda is a day excursion not a hotel. however - there are several facilities within galu kinondo. you could get a great bargain considering diani is not exactly very busy right now.
