These tombs are found deep in the mountainous area of Pogradec. Archeologists believe that The tombs are more than 2300 years old and belong to the Illyrian Kings from the Enkelei Tribes. Highly recommended;)

fascinating insight to the burial regime of Illyrians and tribes which founded and made up what we know collectively as Illyrians, there i so much history in Albania!

Ancient Ilirian Kings tomb discovered in the late sixties. A unique documentation of this land glorious history. A bit difficult to arrive at the site. There are no guides!

Difficult to find (no sign at all), but if you get there, a very friendly local in Selca (ms Feride Kumeh, last house to your right when coming from Uraka and you are in Selca) will walk you to the spot really from friendliness, but...More

The way going in Selca it's an adventure it selves. Especially the road to the village which is continuing and narrowing beside a very secondary mountain road in Albania. Tombs are magnificent and show a part of an impressive civilization of Pelion an Illyrian city...More
