We easily spent about 40 minutes in this museum while we waited for our tequila tour to start. So many cool artifacts and so much history behind tequila making. Definitely worth paying a visit.

The museum isn't too far off then plaza. The enytance fee is low. They have good displays in a pretty building. The display room with tequila varieties is amazing...so many bottles and brands.

Small but interesting museum, with English signage, on everything tequila-from the growing to harvesting through distilling and retail. Some interesting artwork and one room with hundreds of bottles representing most of the brands. Many of the bottles are works of art in their own right. Entrance fee is 15 pesos and it takes an hour or less to walk through. Best to do it first, before you go on distillery tours as it’s good background so you get more out of the tours.

You've traveled all the way to learn about tequila, right? Then why wouldn't you spend just a little bit of time away from the tastes to learn a little bit more about the spirit of this area? It's not a huge museum, but you'll get lots of good background and info on both the area and the drink.

Small but interesting museum on the history of Tequila, the production process and a gallery of historical bottles and brands.
Great value entry at only 15 pesos.
Well worth a visit. A 2 minute walk from the main square and Jose Cuervo

It's small, but worth going to if you have the time. I like the room with all the different bottles of tequila, some of which were really old.

Pretty small museum, but the admission price matches the size! Explore the history of tequila making. Quick visit, again the museum is not large.

I think we paid 15 pesos each to enter, and see some very good photos of the agave growing, harvesting, and tequila making process. The best part for us was the extensive collection of bottles and labels of tequila brands, from El Gato Gordo to Kirkland. Fun visit, worth the time and price for sure.

I enjoyed the Tequila museum because of the beautiful historical building, and because of your knowledgable and amiable guide. We got to see the harvesting process of the blue agave plant, chew on the sweet agave and of course sample some delicious Tequila at the end.
