We had a good Guide, she was very informative, yes this Distillery is very Comercial but it we really recommand it. beautiful garden at the Hacienda, nice bar & restaurant area. we were taken outside the town in country side to their land, and got a demonstration of the Jimador, cutting an Agave. and back to the Hacienda to visit... We found this place by accident. They have a lovely garden with a really cool restaurant. When we "ran" into it we had just had lunch so we decided to return the following day. We had a group of 10 people and the staff at the restaurant could not have been nicer. They had a buffet that was incredible. They... More

I took the self guided tour of the gardens in Casa Saula. They are much nicer than one would guess from the outside street. Not only are the gardens beautiful but there are some interesting signs along the paths. The self guided garden tour is free.

We really liked this tour which included plentiful samples and also lots of interesting facts about the production of tequila as well as its history. Starts with the agave plant itself and how it is harvesteed. Because of a scheduling misunderstanding by our driver, we missed the English tour but the tour guide masterfully did a tour in both English... More

Okay so while in the area I went to 3 different distillery tours, Suaza was my favorite! First of all the tour guide (wish i could remember her name!) was super friendly and informative! We were a small group so she took us to extra places not included in the tour. Also, once at the tequila shop she literally let... More

Our tour guide explained how tequila is made. The first step is the agave plant has to be cut up with a very sharp ax looking tool. She had someone demonstrate how its done and it is alot of hard work. Then she took us inside the Casa Sauza tequila distillery where she showed where the tequila is actually produced.... More

The start of the tour was very good, from the garden you walk to the processing plant and they show you the old barrels, you see the difference of them and later you see a big mural that contains the story of Tequila and Casa Sauza. Til that point everything was nice. After that they get you inside the processing... More

As a life long tequila officianado, I was very excited to visit the town of Tequila. And the Casa Sauza tour was a great way for us to learn about this product of Mexico. From the informative video, the planting our own agave, the view of huge storage barrels, and a tour of the distillery. Our guide Monica was very... More

We arrived to Sauza yesterday tired and ready for some tequila tastings when we were informed they were closing about 1pm for a private event. No more tours, no tasting nothing! Very disappointing. The staff was friendly but still having travelled from California we were bummed.
