Loved diving the blue cave, saw manta when we jumped in off the jetty (that is not for beginners as you have time your ‘surf’ over the reef ridge to get out). There is a lovely shore dive off their beach (circus). Guides pointed out...More

We stayed at White Grass Ocean Resort and dived with Volcano Island Divers, which made diving an absolute breeze. Top notch dive shack service meant I only carried my rig when diving at the house reef. Other than that it was busted up 4WD luxury...More

7 dives over 5 days with Volcano Island Divers, based at White Grass Beach Resort on Tanna island in Vanuatu. Warm water, great visibility, easy relaxed diving. Heaps to see: banded sea snakes, turtles, dolphins, rays; cool swim throughs, and the unforgettably-beautiful Blue Cave. Didn't...More

Reefs close to shore are not healthy at all, lots of algae, few fish. It's better further out, clearer water etc so take the boat. Dive master briefing was nonexistent, bit of a gong show really. Didn't understand photographers so he swam us around like...More

Great staff, competitive rates, fantastic diving and snorkelling. The dives are not deep many with a max of 20 metres but they are spectacular in terms of fishlife. I will definitely e back to dive with these guys.

I have done 100 dives across 10 countries and I'm a qualified Rescue Diver and this is by far the most unsafe dive I have done. Vanuatu generally does not have a stellar safety record and it was very apparent here. Despite there being a...More

Thank you for your review Psycosavenger. We are sorry that you feel that the diving on Tanna is unsafe. As a qualified Rescue Diver, with over 100 dives across 10 countries, it would be assumed by dive staff that awareness of the standard rule applies...More

The Team of the Volcano Island divers is the best I have dived with in Vanuatu. I had asked to dive slowly because I love small stuff and nudibranches. And slow dives were exactly what I got. We found incredible things (e.g. nudibranch eating nudibranch)...More
