I love Kalami for the Durrell's home, eating there is a treat. But the bay is rather ruined to be honest.

The water is clear, warm, slowly shelving and safe, with no currents. Snorkling is good as is the fishing. The bay faces Albania across a two mile stretch of water through which much traffic passes. The bay is also a popular anchoring point for both...More

Absolutely stunning destination and location. Beautiful beach although pebbles. Beach shoes essential. Sunbeds and Umbrella not expensive and all Taverna's are next to the beach. So you don't even have to leave your chair unless you need food.

We love this beach as the access is good, the water usually clear and there is excellent fish life under the surface. We suggest taking bread if you like snorkelling. The beach has increased in popularity over the years but it is still a little...More

Absolutely love the place. Plenty choice of restaurants and bars. Amazing views, you don’t have to walk far for an amazing view to hit you.

This beach provided us with quiet, relaxation and peace. The water is crystal clear and the tavernas with their cheerful workers are an added bonus

Sorry only just seen this question. This is a pebble beach so no building sandcastles but if your driving there is a town just 4km away with a small beach.

Hi I believe the kayaks and paddle boards are €12 an hour. There aren’t any jet skis yet but a water sports place was just setting up last week when I left
