The beach is nice but not very clean. Some small restaurants with loud music, scooters and cars everywehere. Not my spot.

The beach is the best option in the Dawei region Be aware it takes two hours to get there from Dawei, at least. Meanwhile small restaurants are open up. And you can rent umbrella and chairs. During low tide some motor bikes and cars are driving on the beach. And the pollution is starting to get worse. It could be that the beauty of the beach will be gone in a views years, unfortunately.

It's abit far out from the main beach but the lagoon is gorgeous for a swim, water's clear and hardly anyone there. But you need to rent a bike and it's not cheap. In fact if you drive, you need to rent a ride from the parking to the beach which is 2,500. And the bike for going to lagoon is 8,000. It's not cheap.......

Nice enough. We hired mbikes in Dawei and rode there and back in a day, which is quite hardcore, but worth it. The ride is beautiful, but as said, pretty hard work due to road conditions. Beach is pretty good, quite touristy though, which is little downside. Many cheap restaurants right on the beach. (We found Tizit beach better - nearly empty, no tourists, alone on the beach, few little shops & drinks places).

I recommend you to go to this beach when you come to Dawei.
I stayed at Myanmar Paradise Bungalow and visited this beach for half a day.
There are too many seafood shops and taste are really good.
You can rent a motorcycle and looks around the beach.
Btw, sand at Grandfather Beach is really gentle I've ever seen.

Amazing beach. Come at low tide for driving on the beach. Avoid weekends, because then you have some bummbumm. Note: almost no shades.

Even though the accessibility isnt that great yet, i totally recommend this beach. Approximately 2 hours drive away from Dawei. Clean. Uncrowded. Some small shops for foods and drinks. Places to change clothes and shower. Sunset is must 😀. Recommend to go with small wagon

One of the most beautiful beach in Dawei peninsula with white fine sand and crystal clear water. The beach is still clear with hotels and foreigners are not allow to sleep with tents.

Absolutely love this beach. It’s stunning, quiet with beautiful turquoise water. One of my favorite beach in Dawei!

Long but nice route, except for the last part where you have to go up and down a hill, may be muddy. A few restaurants to serve you. Worth the ride
