This place is a popular destination for college students.
Finding it might get a little tricky but with the help of some locals around its possible.
Watch out for slippery rocks.

Jamboti is just 20kms from Belgaum. It is a very interesting place for nature lovers. Forests are spread wide across and rivers also flow across. Forest officials are very friendly and help while exploring the forests.

Very nice place near Belgavi. This place is not very famous and so is less crowded. One has to cross Jamboti Hills while travelling to Goa from Belgavi. This place is very quite and scenic particularly during monsoons. Very nice location to visit for a 1 day drive thingy.

Unfortunately the falls were not to be seen, but the travel to this location is worth it. The route takes you through forest land and it is simply super - beware the roads are narrow and you cannot park on the road

Drive to Jamboti hills from Belgaum is absolute beauty. The road is travelled through the lush green forests and the beauty of rains in monsoon is a delight. Its green everywhere and one can drive to the border of Karnataka-Goa with ease and all along what you find is greenery.

Hey Swarjeet,
I was a resident of Belgaum for decades, and I used go for trekking with my friends to nearby forests. We never faced any issues or necessity of taking permission from forest department. But it’s a good idea to take permission. Your concern of taking permission is not a big deal, as jamboti is a very small village and you can easily be guided by the local people.
