We stopped here on our cycling holiday with friends. It was such a great find especially if you had children or were young at heart. The cafe had provided so much fun for children from dressing up with tails, to painting Easter egg paintings, exploring all the nooks and crannies in the adventure playground, climbing the tree to slide down... Do not miss out on stopping here for lunch or just a drink especially if you are travelling with kids. Service was a little slow as they were super busy at lunch time. But food was lovely.Home made wedges were divine as accompaniment to our mains. The highlight is the play ground and open areas for kids to run around sand... More

We were greeted warmly and told they were fully booked for tables outside and would we mind sitting inside. The waitress was very sweet and told us if something opened up, they would move us outside. Our kids took off to play in the many... More

You can choose a table in the garden or indoors, you can wander the gardens or climb down a steep bank to the tame eels. It's a quirky sanctuary with grass and trees. There's a play area for the kids. You'll be served by friendly staff. We had a yummy smoked fish salad and a venison burger. We heard a... More

Quaint and quirky cafe with lots to do and see, as well as good menu. Try the lemon tart. Or watch the eels in the creek.
